Upsides: 

  • Prints come out great with ease.

  • Very stiff material.

Downsides:

  • More durable than PLA but has a fairly low heat and UV tolerance - prolonged direct sun exposure may soften and warm material as well as discolouring it.

Upsides: 

  • Higher heat and UV tolerance than PLA+ = More durable.

Downsides:

  • Slightly shinier surface to prints

  • Not as stiff as PLA+ (the margine should not be noticable with most cases)

  • Thin parts will not be very rigid

Upsides: 

  • Super durable, very high heat and UV tolerance. This particular brand has been engineered to be able to be used for car engine bay parts. 

  • Resembles PLA+ in terms of looks.

Downsides:

  • Not as stiff as PLA+ (the margine should not be noticable with most cases)

  • Thin parts will not be very rigid
